Greenlight Dispensary in Helena has received approval to open from Arkansas state regulators. The owners are permitted to choose their opening date, according to spokesman Scott Hardin of the Department of Finance and Administration.

Between the 3 operating dispensaries in the state, $1.72 million in medical marijuana has been sold since May 10, KATV 7 News reports. Those sales equal 258 pounds of marijuana being sold in just 2 ½ months.  Greenlight Dispensary has not provided an opening date yet.

Two more dispensaries could be opening soon as Native Green Wellness Center is awaiting the results of its inspection and Fiddler’s Green is expecting its final inspection in the coming days.

Additional dispensaries could also be opening in July in Arkansas.
