Arkansas AG Rejects Medical Marijuana Ballot Proposal

Arkansas Dispensary

A proposal introduced by Larry Morris to legalize marijuana was rejected by Attorney General Leslie Rutledge. The proposal would have allowed a state constitutional amendment. The proposal was called ambiguous by the Arkansas AG.

Rutledge suggests that Berry and Morris work together on a single legislative proposal, according to U.S. News & World Report. It was also noted as being almost identical to legislation submitted by Mary Berry.

It hasn’t been said whether the two will work together on new legislation.
