Arkansas Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Surpass 25,000 Pounds

Since medical marijuana dispensaries opened in Arkansas in 2019, more than 25,000 pounds of marijuana have been sold. Arkansas patients have spent $163 million so far.

The latest state report indicates that 25,337 pounds of medical marijuana have been sold, KNWA 24 News reports. The first dispensary to open in the state was Suite 443, who has reported having sold 1,496.43 pounds of medical marijuana products.

Green Springs Medical in Hot Springs opened just 2 days after Suite 443 and reports having sold 3,238.8 pounds of medical marijuana.

Sales are expected to increase as more Arkansans warm up to the idea of medical marijuana being an option.
