Medical Marijuana Facility in Cotton Plant to Hire up to 25 People

Medical marijuana isn’t available in Arkansas yet, but cultivators are getting their operations ready. Five cultivation teams are preparing green houses and other cultivation facilities. The Bold Team is expecting to be growing marijuana within a few months.

The Bold Team is looking to hire 20 to 25 local residents to work in their facility, according to THV 11 News.  A variety of jobs will be available from trimmers to I.T. positions. The facility is expected to be providing medical marijuana for dispensaries by April or May.

Robert Lercher of Bold Team said, “What we told Cotton Plant is we want to give them the first chance, opportunity to come for the jobs here.”

Regarding the types of jobs available, Lercher said, “All across the board, there will be growers, trimmers, accountants, I.T. folks.”

The company will have job postings up later in November for residents and other interested parties to begin applying for.
