BOLD Team in Arkansas will have the honors of harvesting the state’s first medical marijuana crop this month. The team is expecting to harvest on April 22 or 23. The company planted 24 different strains.

BOLD Team expects products to be available for patients by May 10, according to the Arkansas Times. The products will range from dry flower to vape pen cartridges. BOLD Team’s vape cartridges will use distillate.

To make their vape liquid, the company uses pressurized propane and butane. The process takes about an hour. 20 pounds of dry marijuana makes 3 pounds of oil.

The team has been visiting dispensaries to see what the potential need, in regards to amount of product, each location will need so that they can keep up with patient demand.

More cultivators are expected to be planting soon as their final inspections have just been completed. Inspections for dispensaries are taking place throughout April.
