New Arkansas Medical Marijuana Clinic Opens

Arkansans will soon have a clinic dedicated to helping patients obtain their medical marijuana cards. Arkansas Marijuana Card is expecting to open in Fayetteville this fall. Additional clinics are planned for other areas in the state.

Hot Springs, Little Rock, Jonesboro and Fort Smith are all on the list of future locations for the clinic, KATV 7 News says.

Veterans will be given a 50% discount on their evaluations for the first month that each clinic location is open.  The clinic will submit recommendations to the state following an evaluation that determines that the patient has at least one of the state’s 18 qualifying conditions.

List of Qualifying Conditions

  •  Cancer
  • Glaucoma
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Hepatitis C
  • ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease
  • Tourette’s syndrome
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Ulcerative colitis
  • PTSD
  • Severe arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • A chronic or debilitating disease that produces: intractable pain, cachexia or wasting syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, severe nausea, seizures, severe or persistent muscle spasms
