Arkansas Marijuana Sales Soar Amid Coronavirus Fears

The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control agency reports that medical marijuana sales in the state have significantly increased in the last week. The state also recently reports crossing the $50 million in sales mark. An additional $4 million in medical marijuana sales have been reported since March 4.

There are now 20 dispensaries in operation, Fox 24 News says. There are still 13 dispensaries with license approvals that have not opened yet. It’s not known when those remaining dispensaries will be in operation.

Green Springs Medical in Hot Springs has sold the most medical marijuana to patients with 1,694.27 pounds sold recorded.

Mentions of the state’s supply and ability to meet the demand of its medical marijuana patients was not noted.
